Fiddleheads is currently selling curriculum for our 2021 winter/spring online preschool session for children ages 3-6. Our online learning program is no longer enrolling at this time.
The Fiddleheads online program combines at home, seasonal, thematic nature study lessons with online, full group and one on one programming facilitated by teachers.
All Fiddleheads online lessons, online circle times and facetime chats are created and facilitated by the same qualified teachers that run our in person school, and are crafted with our usual high standards for physical, emotional, creative and cognitive stimulation and our focus on building a personal connection with nature, nurturing curiosity, and building strong emotional intelligence and communication skills.
We are different from many other online learning programs in that we are offering continuity of community and instruction. We work to build a relationship with your child and family. We enroll a small number of children per session and cap that number in order to provide personal and individual attention to each family.
Here's what parents say: "We just love this program so much! I am a gardener and native plant enthusiast and it’s been so thrilling to see my 4yo come alive this spring in the garden. She has learned so much and has fallen in love with nature and the natural processes she has been observing. I’m so grateful for these lessons. Thank you for sharing your passion and wisdom! " -Amber
"This program is just fabulous." -Meghan
"I am so grateful to open my inbox and have access to such rich, high quality lessons every day." -Kerry
"When we all pivoted to virtual learning in mid-March, Fiddleheads transitioned seamlessly. The teachers remained welcoming and upbeat (even in the virtual format) which truly was a feat. We welcomed the steady rhythm of the daily routine offered by Fiddleheads in the midst of all the uncertainty. I’m not certain who benefited more, parents or kids! It was mutually beneficial for all.”-Chelsea
"The days during the pandemic when we follow this online instruction are, by far, our best days. I would recommend Fiddleheads to any parent looking for a contemporary, whole child and high quality approach to early childhood education that simultaneously maintains those most wonderful traditions of seasonal celebration and childhood magic that we rejoice in passing on to our children." -Emily B.
